From Sunshine Coast to Silicon Valley
11-Aug-2011Innovative network computing solutions company ThinLinX, which graduated from the Innovation Centre in January 2011, have made it from the Sunshine Coast to Silicon Valley.
After relocating their headquarters to Mooloolaba at the beginning of the year, Directors John Nicholls and Jeanne Moloney-Nicholls, ThinLinX, have just signed up for a Sunnyvale Office in Silicon Valley to house their team of developers.
Director John Nicholls said apart from their thin clients and Remote RX hardware ThinLinX are now working on RemoteFX Software Apps for the Apple Mac, iPad and iPhone.
“We released the Mac App a few weeks ago and will release our iPad Ap in about two weeks. Apple are selling 4.5 million iPads a month so we expect to have a big market” Mr Nicholls said.
Mr Nicholls said manufacturing of their new Microsoft RemoteFX hardware DSP thin client TLX1000-M model will commence in China shortly. The TLX1000-M allows remote workers to access any type of application or screen content, including rich media and 3D applications.
